The Warranty

Given our commitment to your total satisfaction, all purchases at CARAT* carry a guarantee against defects in workmanship. This warranty does not cover damages caused by accident or inappropriate use.

 

14 Day Money back Guarantee

14 Days Money Back Guarantee apply to the order that fulfilled the criteria listed in “Refund”. Please contact us to return your jewellery within 7 days of receipt of your package. You must then return the package within 14 days from the date of you receiving the shipment. Our customer service associate will do their best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible by assisting you with the following options 1.Delivering another item 2. Replacing your order or 3. Refunding the amount paid excluding our restocking fee of 10% of the jewellery price (excluding shipping).

 

Refund

 

Refunds are issued to eligible returns which fulfill the following criteria:

  • Full refund for 12-hours cancellation. Cancellation procedures apply.
  • Full refund for exchange. Exchange procedures apply.
  • Full refund for unavailable sale items that are on sale.
  • Full refund if no replacement is available for defective items.
  • No refund for items on sale, special ordered, custom made or modified by us for the customer.
  • Full refund must have valid “Return Authorization Number” and shipping back to us within 14 days from the date of you receiving the shipment. Jewellery in the original condition including all original packaging and collateral materials are required. 

 


To claim a refund please follows these steps:

  

 

1. Let us know: Contact us within "7 days of receipt of your jewellery" by emailing shopping@carat.cc , please include your order confirmation number, name, shipping address and contact numbers.

If you would like to talk to us directly, please use the telephone numbers mentioned above during office hours click here to see the current time in Hong Kong. You will need to have your credit card details handy for this call, and we will need to talk to the person who bought the item.

 

 

 

 

 

2. Get your Return Authorization Number: Our customer service associate will give you a "Return Authorization Number", which you need to include in the return shipping documents. Returned Jewellery with no Return Authorization Number will be refused and returned to sender at their expense.

 
3. Ship back to us: You must ship back to us within 14 days from the date of you receiving the package. Send the package via a traceable carrier so that you can track your package if necessary (FedEx, UPS, DHL). CARAT* will not send email confirmation for packages received.

For your protection, please insure the package for the full amount of the invoice plus shipping charges. CARAT* is not responsible for items lost or damaged of return shipments.

Note the following important information:

1. Returned jewellery with no “Return Authorization Number”, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused and returned to sender at their expense.

2. Each item must be returned in the same condition as it was sent, unworn and undamaged. Include all original packaging and collateral material. Damaged goods due to customer negligence will not be accepted for refund. Worn goods as evidenced by micro-scratches, scratches, dirt, or additional workmanship from other jewellers etc. will not be accepted.

3. You should not write the words, jewellery, diamonds or other luxury-related words anywhere on the package, as this invites possible theft of the package. We suggest you write "fashion accessories". CARAT* is not responsible for items lost or damaged while being shipped back to us.

4. A prompt refund will be issued if the item is in its original condition and all the information referred to above is received. The credit card used for the original purchase will be credited with the original price. 

 

Return Authorization Number

This is a unique number for use to identify your returning shipment. It is issued to you in the case if you are allowed a refund or an exchange.

 

12-Hours Cancellation

In the case if you change your mind after placing an order, please notify us immediately. Emailing shopping@carat.cc your decision to cancel your order. Include your order number, name, order amount and currency in your email. It is a requirement that you must send the email within 12 hours as we may not be able to stop shipped order.


Exchange

This is an arrangement whereby CARAT* agrees to accept your return in replacement for a newly placed order. With prior notice to us, you are allowed to make an exchange. In our reply, we will be requesting you to place a new order and inform us the new order number. After receiving your new order number, we will provide you a “Return Authorization Number” in order for you to ship the earlier order back to us within 7 days.

 

Duties and Tax

Your local customs may charge you duties and tax upon each importation. You may prefer to retain your importation documents for cross-checking later.

 

Order Confirmation

If your order is proceed successfully, you will receive an email from shopping@carat.cc as your proof of purchase.

 

On Sale Items
Shipped sale items are non-refundable, non-returnable and non-exchangeable. Sale items are guaranteed the mounting workmanship for 30-day period. We will confirm stock availabilities 7 days upon your order. Unsuccessful orders will be refunded accordingly. Sale items whilst stocks last and for online orders only.

 

Governance
Your use of this site and any contract between you and CARAT* for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable for these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.

The trademarks, logos and service marks (collectively the "Trademarks") which you see on this site are registered and unregistered trademarks of CARAT* are licensed to CARAT* by third parties. Nothing contained on the Web Site should be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark displayed on this Web Site without the written permission of CARAT* or such third party who owns the trademark.
